Welcome to the third edition of the Caves Beachside e-newsletter
The Caves Beachside project has reached a major milestone with lock up stage of the hotel being achieved. We are all very pleased with this significant milestone as we have had some wet weather at critical stages. Graph Building have done a good job of making up for some of the lost time caused by weather delays which have been holding up progress over the last few months but never mind the opening is near.
Weather proofing is currently underway and the timer decking, hand rails and framing of the deck as well as footpaths and roads will be completed hopefully between now and Christmas. Another part of the project in the last stages of completion is the painting and laying of the internal floors.
The exterior surrounds are also well underway and over the first week of December, many power poles surrounding our project will be removed which will have significant improvement in the way the site looks from the outside. The wetland ponds, which are well advanced, will be excavated to correct depths in the coming weeks whilst the “Beach Suites” are well under construction.
We are certainly pleased by the number of bookings that we have already received for future functions and weddings and what a spectacular beach front location it is for any special occasion.
To all our contractors, design team and all the workers skillfully working on our new hotel and project, thank you very much. We hope you are proud of your contribution and we appreciate your efforts.
